As the girls rode toward the fields, Vienna pointed out a few places here and there to Cleo, giving her a small tour of the place. Reaching one of the farmer's fields, Vienna rode King up to the gate and leant forward, pulling open the gate for them. She gestured for Cleo to go in first before following with King and shutting the gate behind them. "Ok, well you can basically do what you want here, get used to Dee and all that." she said with a smile as King pricked his ears forward toward the cows. "Just watch out for the cows." she added with a soft laugh as King nickered toward the cows. "We're not going to play with them King, that'd just create chaos." she said to the stallion as she leant forward and rubbed him between the ears playfully. King bobbed his head down and started pawing the ground, he wanted to run. "Ok well Cleo, you can do your own thing, or you can tag along, but let me warn you, King is mighty fast, and he's hypo." she said with a chuckle as she nudged King forward into a gallop.

Cleo listened intently as they rode along, she pushed the mare forward through the gate and waited for Vienna to close it again before asking the mare to fall in step with King again. She was enjoying the ride, and after the mare had finished the normal first ride "tests" she was happy to do as asked without argument.
"Cow?" She repeated as she looked around the field and spotted the cows grazing not too far away from them. "What are they like with the horses?" She asked, intrigued as she had never been this close to cows before. She watched Dee's ears, the mare didn't seem too worried about the cows. "I think Dee wants a good run." She commented. She watched Vienna pushed her stallion into a gallop and just watched the other horse run. "Let's go!" She whispered to the mare as she gathered the reins and pushed her forward. She drew in a sharp breath as the mare quickly picked up speed as she stretched herself out and began to close in on the stallion, even though she'd never catch him unless he slowed down.

Vienna grinned as she noticed Cleo and Dee were galloping behind them, the mare sure was fast, but she definately wasn't going to catch up with King unless he slowed down. King snorted as he noticed the mare was behind him, he loved a good race, but then again he was a gentleman. Vienna smiled as she noticed King's pace slowed slightly, giving the mare a chance to catch up. "Sometimes I wonder about you King," Vienna said with a laugh as she clapped him on the neck and kept him going at a reasonable speed. "Come on Cleo!" she called out.

Cleo laughed as she watched the stallion. "If I didn't know better, I'd think he was trying to be fresh with you." she told Dee as she leaned further forward in the saddle so that she was almost lying beside the mare's neck. "Go!" She laughed as the mare found another burst of speed and shot forward so that she was running neck to neck with King. "Thanks for coming on a ride with me." She called over to the other girl. "This is so much more fun that riding around and around an arena." She blushed slightly feeling guilty as that is what she had done at the Hunter Estate for years and years, but shrugged it off quickly as she just enjoyed the feeling of freedom from galloping across the field.

"That's ok," Vienna said in reply with a grin as Cleo and Dee caught up to herself and King. King snorted as the scent of the mare filled his nostrils, and Vienna could feel his body tense as he contemplated a bit of showing off. "King, don't you dare." Vienna warned the stallion as her heels connected to his sides to make him come back to reality. The stallion snorted as his ears turned back to Vienna and listened to her voice, she didn't want him being stupid, so he wouldn't. "Think you can make that fence up there?" Vienna asked Cleo, she knew King and Dee could jump the fence, it wasn't that high, but it was up to Cleo whether she wanted to or not.

Cleo laughed as she watched King. "If he were a human male, I'd think he was crushing on Dee." She said with another laugh as she mare nodded her head.
She raised her eyes and looked at the fence Vienna had mentioned. "If she can jump than I can take her over it." She said simply, but not boastfully. "I'll let you and King go first." She took up the reins a little to get the mare's attention on her again and not just on the pleasure of running at full speed. She sat up, and pushed her tail bone into the saddle as the mare gave a half buck in protest to having to listen again.

Vienna laughed at Cleo's comment about King crushing on Dee, how silly it was. She then nodded toward the fence, "I'll see you on the otherside then," she said to Cleo with a grin as she nudged King forward. As they neared the fence, Vienna collected her reins as King's front hooves lifted off the ground, sending them soaring over the white fence. Vienna grinned as King landed safely on the other side. Slowing him down she rode him in a circle and stopped him so they were facing the fence, waiting for Cleo and Dee to come over.

Cleo watched as the other girl and her horse flew over the fence. "Your turn, love." She said as she turned the mare toward the fence. "Just nice and easy." She watched the jump as they drew closer and closer to it. She could feel the mare prepare herself for takeoff and the girl rose out of the saddle, moving her arms up the mare's neck so that she wouldn't get in the way of Dee's head while she was going over the jump. "Good girl!" She cheered as they landed on the other side and she sat back up again, grinning at Vienna. "She is an awesome jumper!"

Vienna grinned back at Cleo as she watched her take Dee over the fence, the mare really had potential, and Cleo's riding skills were no less then perfect. "You're an awesome rider," Vienna commented as she walked King beside Dee and raised her hand to give the girl a high five.

Cleo shrugged once she'd high fived Vienna. "I'm an okay rider. Dee just makes me look really good." She said. "She is a really good horse though, and could go a really long way with the correct rider." She rubbed Dee's neck as she grinned. "King jumps really well too. Is he always this well behaved when you're riding him?" She was interested to know as she had heard some horror stories about people who owned and rode stallions.

Vienna nodded. "She's a beautiful mare, but I think you two have a lot of potential." she said with a warm smile as she rested her hands in her lap. At Cleo's comments about King's behaviour she grinned. "Surprisingly for a stallion he's very well behaved for me." she said proudly as she gave King a pat. "He's like a giant teddy bear with a heart of gold, but...like any stallion he can have his moments." she added as she took her feet out of the stirrups and stretched.

Cleo shrugged, she'd never seen herself as a good rider, she was just did what she was told. She chuckled at Vienna's mention of King being like a giant teddy bear. "Sorry." She hiccuped as she tried to bit back the laughter that threatened to escape. "I'm sorry." She was shaking so hard from trying to stop herself from laughing that she tipped off Dee's side and landed on the ground in a fit of giggles.
Picking herself up, she took a deep breath, brushed herself down and remounted. "Okay, I won't do that again." She said with another giggle.
[[Yeah, and I have done that before]]

"Are you ok?" Vienna asked with a soft giggle as she watched Cleo remount. "I must say, I don't think I've ever seen or done that before." she added teasingly with a grin as she put her boots back into the stirrups. "Let's get you moving before you do that again." she said with a chuckle as she clicked her tongue, sending King forward at a peaceful walk.

"I'm fine." Her voice no more than a whisper, Cleo lowered her head as she played with the mare's mane, suddenly sobering up, completely humiliated now that she thought of how useless she must have just looked as she tipped off the horse. "I-I should probably take Dee back to the stables now. I've still got to put my things away properly and get my name on all my books." She squeezed the mare forward.

Vienna could see that Cleo was slightly embarrassed about what she had just done, and it made her feel extremely bad for giggling. "I'm sorry I shouldn't've laughed," she said looking down, she felt horrible for the girl. "Alright, we'll head back then." she said softly as she guided King toward another gate. Once reaching the gate she leant forward and unhooked it and swung it open for Cleo like she had done before. Once both horses were through the gate, she shut it behind her and sent King in the direction of the stables.
