Cleo shrugged. "There's nothing to be sorry for." She said. "I should never have been mucking around, it was my own fault I fell off." She now sat in the saddle as she would at her old work place, as though she were at a show or on display. She shivered slightly, it was always like that. They were always on display, as though they were nothing more than Lord Hunter's play things and when they got too old, were replaced with fresh stock - the humans, not the horses. she rode the mare through the gate and Dee fell into step behind King as they headed back to the stables. "I think I might just stick to the arenas." She commented.

Vienna shook her head as she watched Cleo straighten up, as if she were on show. "Cleo, you're not at that Lord's place anymore, you're allowed to muck around, have fun, live your life!" she said, trying not to get annoyed by the fact that that man had basically programmed into Cleo's brain that she was on show 24/7, it was pathetic. "Everyone falls off their horse, I have fallen off many horses." she added. "That guy can no longer control you, so have fun, laugh, do whatever the heck you want." she continued as they rode up the pathway toward the stables. "There's no fun just riding in the arena, how are you supposed to get to know Dee properly?" she said more then questioned as she pulled King to a stop.

Cleo relaxed her shoulders a little. "I have lived, breathed and dreamed horses for the last seven years of my life. It's hard to forget the things that have been drummed into me since day one." She replied softly. She wiggled her toes in her boots - the equivalent to bouncing on her toes while lost in thought. "Falling off horses never bode well for me in the past, and it's not a habit I'd like to start now." She scrunched her nose up. "The arenas are where I feel safe, I guess." She pulled Dee to a halt beside King and looked at Vienna her green eyes looking lost, slightly reflecting her haunting past. "This riding out thing, scares me. In the arena I have four walls - even if just rails - which clearly allow horse and rider to know the boundaries." She glanced back the way they had come and closed her eyes as she turned back again. "Out there, there are no boundaries, and that terrifies me."

"Ok, I understand." Vienna said comfortingly as she reached out for Cleo's hand to give it a quick squeeze. "If you feel safer, we can just go for rides in the arenas." she added, if it made Cleo more comfortable to be in an arena, then that's what she'd do. "But...you have to promise that you'll come for a ride out here with me again, when you're ready." she said looking back into Cleo's eyes. "Ok?" she said with a warm smile as she let go of Cleo's hand. "And maybe, if you want to, and you have the confidence..." she started as she moved King away from Dee. "You can do this, it's really cool." she said with a wide grin as she shortened her reins slightly and gave King the command to rear up. Vienna had spent a long time back in Australia teaching the stallion to rear on command, and doing it was so much fun, having the adrenaline running through her veins. As King reared he kicked his left hoof out and snorted, he looked picture perfect. After a few moments his front hooves touched the ground and Vienna clapped him on the neck. "Now that! Is fun!" she said with a grin as she turned to Cleo. "I'll get you doing that in no time!" she said happily as she gestured for Cleo to come toward them.

Cleo shook her head quickly. "I don't want to disrupt your riding just cause I'm afraid of the unknown." She said quickly. She fell silent as she watched Vienna ride King forward. Her eyebrows shot up as the girl had her horse rear up. "You ever thought of stunt riding?" She asked. She had read about doing things like that for a job, but had never actually tried any of it. She'd had horses rear up and buck on her all the time, it was all a part of riding, but she had never thought about teaching a horse to do it on command. "I would have to have my own horse before I even thought about learning how to do that." She rubbed Dee's neck. "I don't think the school would like me teaching their horse tricks like that."

"Stunt riding?" Vienna repeated as she gave King another pat on the neck. "Sure I've thought about it, but jumping is my passion, I'm gonna make it to the top, go to the olympics, it's going to be awesome." she said as she thought about her future. Listening to Cleo, she laughed at the fact that Cleo was right, the school definately wouldn't want her teaching Dee tricks like that. Once the girls were moving towards the stables once more, Vienna turned to Cleo. "Do you know when you're going to get your own horse?" she asked curiously.

Cleo smiled. "You, you're shooting for the moon." She pulled a face about when she was going to get her own horse. "I don't know." She replied. "My parents don't exactly have money to spare on luxuries like a horse." She said. "Dad works as a tailor, mum cleans other people's houses. I got here because of a very generous scholarship, and one that doesn't offer pocket money." She squeezed the mare forward. She was lucky enough the the scholarship money - when it came through - would cover the cost of her books and other academic needs, other than that she was broke as she refused to take money from her parents.

"Ah well, I'm sure you'll get a horse soon enough, in the meantime I'll keep an eye out for you." Vienna said in reply with a warm smile as they neared the stables.
||Ok...to the stables!||
